Após lançar o seu álbum de estreia, "Nihilus" em Maio de 2018, Spiralist
regressa agora com o seu primeiro EP digital, "The Church Dyed Black
EP".

O "The Church Dyed Black EP" encontra Spiralist a desbravar novos caminhos sónicos em duas faixas: a agressiva e mutatória faixa-título, e uma versão electrónica e experimental da faixa-título do álbum de estréia de Spiralist, "Nihilus", criada por Ricardo Remédio (também membro da banda de Doom Metal LÖBO).

A faixa-título do EP é um ataque sem filtros nem desculpas à igreja católica pelos seus maisrecentes crimes relativamente a abusos sexuais de menores, como o escândalo na Pennsylvania que envolveu mais de 300 padres e 1000 vítimas, e o caso notório do cardinal George Pell.
